Stories write their ways with music from the amazing Bill Fox, Larry Karpenko & Loup Miracle. Listen to their enigmatic new singles here:
Bill Fox-Terminal Way
There’s no pretence here. Bill Fox doesn’t “recreate” retro vibes, he’s experienced it all. Emerging from the indie band from Cleveland called Mice, he’s ventured into this untrodden trail to tells us tales through his eyes. The opening single from his album Resonance, is a good slice of his compositional and lyrical ability. Like Dylan through the years, he’s able to bring that Laurel Canyon joy and nuance to his music. The harmonium and strums of the acoustic bring the raw poetic style of delivery as well. Raspy vocals bring that metallic touch to his voice, like witnessing a regal classic car just whiz by you. From the tempo to how he crafts the pockets, it shows experience and the thrill to express through his passion:
Larry Karpenko-The River
You’ll feel the currents of love flow. Larry Karpenko is a positive musician, but he lets his soul speak. With pure intentions and an even purer voice, he is able to echo melodies of the heart with a nonchalant ease. Strings and piano accent his sentiments–as he sings about his fears being abetted and his faith giving him direction. Like the river, we share similarities in our convoluted but apparent journey from the beginning to the end. It reflects a great deal of humanity, our need to connect, create and find love. Larry Karpenko has also released Fare Thee Well & Heart Calls Love this year. These are melodies that become timeless, through the expression of passion. Feel the symphony flow:
Loup Miracle-Drive Me Home
Let the layers create a new dimension. Loup Miracle love to experiment, and every album can be an expected detour into the furthest depths of the mind. The project from Granville has established a certain tone and approach to the kind of psychedelic, electro-rock space they occupy. Their latest number Drive Me Home comes from the triple A side called Back to You. Through pulses of vacuum, you’re guided to traverse through the composition. In the bridge, you feel a euphoria of emotions flooding to create something exciting and unique. This is just the beginning, mile 1 of the drive. Percussions build in the background and create mass and void through the tune. Explore the sorcery of the project and kick into gear here:
