Bloomfield Machine-Copium

I didn’t choose this song, it chose me. When Copium plays, you are transported to a highway of colour spectrums and radio milestones. The blend is something exotic, not partially synthscape neither a dream pop exertion. It builds softly, with instrumental density still carrying purpose. From the signal jump where the distorted guitars come in like a Frank Black song, Copium is an aspirational theme without having any lyrics. As much as it has hints of the 80s, it ties to the 90s retro post grunge landscape to make something that is layered, yet leads with dignity. Pair it with the next song called Destines-you’ve been pulled into an 8-bit codescape that buzzes with that incredible human touch you have always yearned for:

Veiled Arch-The Blacksmith Part 1

Within seconds, I felt the Great British wave of metal wrapped tightly in one track. Veiled Arch are their own-inspired sound in metal-but they define today with style. The Blacksmith is a tale, nay, a saga that must go on. With great intensity, the band begin the track, the rhythm section booming and on cue. They call themselves Aussie pub rock-and goddamn do the Aussies party hard. This is a track that isn’t “shot 1 after you enter the pub”. This is the rhythm that closes the night and closes the gates 5 ways to hell. From the vocals having an incredible amalgam with the rhythm section-like I said it reminded me of Judas Priest, the band keeps going with fuel that can fire your gas guzzler in an instant:

Chandra-Just With You

It’s the band that defines global rock. I haven’t seen an indie band in a long time having the innate ability to bring so many souls together. Chanda aren’t just writing tunes, they are resealing the wax emblem of modern society with something refreshing. In a time when people crave it-they bring hope with their music. From the second I listened to Just With You- I could remember the loving presence of my partner no matter how far away I was from her. It’s how the lyrics cascade-bringing a visual that is rich enough to access my core memories. Instrumental textures aim to add incredible flurries to the kind of lyrics, accenting the true chase for happiness. It is the true enjoyment of presence and how pure that feeling is and will be:
