Listen to rock that is raw and paves inspiration with music from Dirty Utility, Wired Euphoria and Casey Louis. Listen to their music here with us!:

Dirty Utility – Left This Way

Let me describe the feeling of listening to a Billboard-charting Bon Jovi song in the 80s. Or I could just let Dirty Utility do it with their latest single. Left This Way is every bit of rock nostalgia delivered through the eyes of the tigers of this band. Pack in a massive bag and head into the time machine for this one. From the echoing vocals to the stadium rock theme, there was nothing I didn’t love about this song. Vocal range and punching percussion parts will guide you from part to part. Start bringing a greatest hits catalogue along, boys; this is going in there for sure with Homewreckin’ Bitch. Dirty Utility shows you all you need to rock is a song that is memorable and melodies that you can sing along to. The rest is pure drive:

Wired Euphoria-Wishes

Try listening to a demo tape of Nirvana. There was this raw, rusted razor edge to their music that made it inherently grunge. Wired Euphoria sure can capture the themes that we want to cruise to, but they wish to do more. With that punk chord progression and vocal chaser we get to have after that spirit, this is that unpolished music we grew up with. I liked how it isn’t overproduced for the kind of theme the song goes along with – wishes. You hope for more and begin with what you have. That aspiration is dialled in with the tone, along with an energy that bursts through chorus and verse sections. There is a swing that comes with the familiarity, and I can picture the whole crowd singing ‘wishes’ together. Another number to dial up the voltage after their single Rat Poison:

Casey Louis – figure it out

There are very few musicians who know how to tailor their sound and production around their style. Casey Louis is a prime example of an indie artist who has nailed it to the T. This track, ‘figure it out’ might come in as a single after The Secret Joke, his first LP, but is a rebirth in sound. He knows what inspires him. Simple chord progressions fall lightly like a drizzle, with his vocals drawing us a beautiful narrative. Like the conscience of many who are troubled, confused, chronically online, and worrying, Casey Louis becomes the gentle lullaby that satiates our thoughts. He knows that we’ll all figure it out, and in telling himself that, he tells more than several billion people the same. It is that comforting warm hug you get in the bitter cold. With arms wide open:
