For You Brother-Father Help Us

When is the last time an incredible guitar-based rock opening stopped you in your tracks? For You Brother is a band that not just operates on faith but keeps a lot of hope for themselves too. Their latest song is not just appealing for help but is swimming and swirling with all the belief that humanity seems to have lost. "Father Help Us" is an extraordinary number. It is upbeat, energetic, and carries an incredible rhythm and flow to it. Like your favourite bands, like Whitesnake, Sammy Hagar era Van Halen, and other iconic bands, the vocals instantly elevate the song with the powerful lyrical manifestation it links to. This project has had a prolific run, with 2 albums being released in 2026 itself. The pure chemistry you feel comes from seasoned musicians who have been on panels like the Grammys. No wonder this quality is on a whole other level:

Frequency77-Only Time Will Tell 

This band is not from our timeline, far in the fiction-infused future. Frequency77 exists on a whole other plane and trajectory of the future where melodies and frequencies have different meanings. This band is able to bring that human touch we'll start missing so much by some introspective foresight. "Only time will tell" sounds like a song from one of the only rock bands that rely on live instruments making feelings come alive. There is an obvious punk quality to the track. It sways with a certain energy that reminds you of the Ramones and maybe even a hint of Green Day. The timestamp of the song also gives you the same essence: a quick rhythm that doesn't flip on the beat and instead keeps riding like a bullet train on the track. Will we make it through this old historical adage? Only time will tell:

Cruel Ploy-Fear 

This alt-rock band is balanced between the present and the future. With some production elements and instrumentals being AI, this is a testament to how music is going to evolve. This EP Fear resonates with a theme that includes a lot of sub-genres yet sets itself apart. The lo-fi aesthetic of the opening track will keep you hooked as layers evolve within the song. Call it a false start of sorts. For the incredible distorted guitars and swelling energy that comes up is unprecedented. It has all the ingredients of a perfect storm, an amazing build while being a perfect precursor to an album that is meant to inspire. It doesn't rely on any formula but rather pushes the boundaries of what you thought you would hear in rock. Cruel Ploy are what you will wait with bated breath for:
