Jens Konrad-Se Hinanden Igen
An inspirational, resounding style of pop rock comes with Jens Konrad. The musician has released his first full length album, showcasing his style, approach and kind of energy his music brings. His single from it called Se Hinanden Igen is the one I’ve grooved to, and it is the kind of sentiment retro vibes are swirling in. His vocals have a sparkling echo, having that New Wave power which used to ring out in radios all over the world. Stjernesjæl is the album which carries his passionate sound with the kind of production that is fit for contemporary winds. Perfectly designed, the song does what it is intending to do so well. The kind of charm that changes the temperature of the winds:
Arisawkadoria-Naima
Look, this isn’t jazz for jazz’s sake. It isn’t supposed to float in an indie rock playlist. However, it is perfectly fitting for the kind of long drive you’re out for on the weekend. The cover of the Coltrane classic has been done tastefully, keeping all the tones and melodies as close to the original. However, Arisawkadoria bring their own wind of sound to it, making for a song that will remind you of the vinyl grooves. It is an incredible composition, performed by individuals who really want to decipher the best of jazz from through the years. Each solo brightens up the song as much as it could, creating a shift you could only dream of:
Sheykh Forever-Sleeping Dogs
The funk is infectious from this one. This artist has a good time gamut going on. Sheykh Forever might have found a niche for his sound that he can own. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t put all of his effort to churn out something spectacular. The musician makes Sleeping Dogs a slow jam with some amazing layers. It is the dance floor number that makes the people stick around for more. His vocals are soft, enticing and fit the kind of theme he is trying to pull off so well. He draws back the lyrical veil to push in the effect and feel so well. A song to get lost in, just melt into the psychedelia here:
