Made of Sand-What You Give (Is What You Get)

Call it a confluence of cultures. Two parts of Made of Sand are instrumental fiends and Tottenham fans, with one Lithuanian origin singer who can transport you into another aesthetic of music. What they are able to deliver is a meld of electronica with industrial rock elements-and the result is more than a flourish. What You Give (Is What You Get) might remind you of Eurythmics and the 80s pop movement in many ways. Yet behind the retro waves lie a lot of electronic layers; all balanced together brilliantly. Based on a Novel and Come Find Me are the others in their current roster that showcase a style that not only deserves a comeback, but can give a narrative while following a sticky series of grooves. A.D.A.M. Music Project-They Are Here

I am SO GLAD someone is shining a light on this. Since aliens have been confirmed to have visited Earth, this news has flown under the radar (pun intended). A.D.A.M. Music Project have the skill and range to be able to bring a powerful anthem that sounds like 1000 volts of current and caffeine coursing through your veins. With an electronic beat opening setting up the verse, you can feel the build getting to you. The instant the vocals hit with the distorted wall of guitars, you can yell “beam me up, Scotty”. It crashes with purpose and power, like a blazing screen that is humming with news that can change how the world spins. As impressive as the composition is, vocals are just splendid-bringing the feel almost as though an extraterrestrial power has arrived:

Autonym-Not Today

We can only go up in energy, and Autonym is here to take that throne. Not Today opens itself with a riff that is commanding and sucks all the silence out of the room. In the first 2o seconds of the song, it establishes itself as a hard rock anthem, perfect pauses and charged chord progressions getting you riled up. The boys from West Yorkshire boys fuel the flames well with the kind of track they’ve made, bubbling with rock greatness. From when the vocals come in to the rise to the chorus; I loved the raw energy of the song, becoming almost anthemic. You can almost picture the entire crowd passionately singing this with metal horns to the sky. You might want to wind up and give up. Not today:
