Blake Baker-The Best 

I never thought I could appreciate the texture of a legendary song that has been covered until I heard Blake Baker do it with "The Best." A brilliant cover of the Tina Turner classic. This one has an emotive spectrum that goes from a country vibe, owing to his acoustic guitar work and simple but powerful vocal performance. Rather than upstage what is already such an iconic rendition, this feels personal to Baker, in whatever spectrum of life he’s viewing this in. He switches seamlessly between falsetto and head voice. The layered guitar part becomes richer, more giving to his vocal rendition eventually. This is where Baker shines, not making it the R&B pop smash hit it is but an acoustic cover that respects the inspiration in a deeper, more altruistic way:
