Rock to a rhythm divine with energizing, passionate music from Mortez, The Mess:Age & Block. You're entering the big leagues now, experience music that makes you feel:

Mortez-River Runnin

Absorb yourself in the contrast of piano and eclectic guitar sounds. Mortez is a band that can fuse the echoes of a stadium with the booming riffs that you will sing along to thanks to it being toffee sticky. Arpeggiated guitar riff elements come together with the vocals to bring a sonic delight. You’re river runnin’ before you know it, and it's a run to look forward to. The production is brilliant, bringing out all the booming, highlight elements to the foreground. The only thing buried in the dirt is your faint shadow of doubt. With that delectable solo and song overall, the duo have brought another gem of a track that will adorn itself in our playlist for quite some time. Pop your shoes on, we’re going to the shore:

The Mess:Age-SACRIFICE

A slow burn rock saga that will soon become one of your favourite. You might have heard of the band called The Silencers. Echoing a melodic, synth soaked sound, The Mess:Age in its newest form reminds me of them. It is the sound of the 80s, with enough space to enjoy the drama synthesised and banked on. The vocals echo with purpose, writing the tale for you to follow. The guitar elements are the crisp standout while the electro-arpeggiated elements have its own percussive nature to them. In pockets, you’re reminded of U2 as well, as Glen Brandon croons in a high pitch passionately. The musician has worked with some of the most iconic and prolific musicians of our time. No wonder it reflects into a legacy that will tattoo itself into your conscience:

Block-Rhinoceros

Good music is like a time machine. We just found an artist who can operate it. Block’s album from 1996 is an iconic underground cult classic, and we’re lucky to be reviewing/listening to it now. From the moment you press play, you get that vintage busker energy, engaging a crowd to who you don’t want to hard sell, but depict your passion. Rhinoceros will remind you of a time when songwriting wasn’t about clicks and metrics. This was a creative’s observations, how they found routes and maps of the mind to traverse through. Simple strumming buzzes with remainders of Bob Dylan’s songwriting style. There is an electric-charged element that Block carries, with true character. Recognisable, and dare I say, shining with personality that you just can’t mimic nowadays:
