Songbirds+Sirens-Somewhere

There's a moment when you're listening to Kavinsky's "Nightfall" that your mind just goes on autopilot. Songbirds+Sirens create a destination that forever remains a wonderment, all because of its beautiful subjectivity. Somewhere is by the talented duo of Stu Miller & Ryan Smiley – a couple who know how two complete beings can create art that exudes rich character. Not only are the lyrics full of vulnerability, as some of the tougher questions we never really bothered to ask ourselves are asked. Vocals are a beautiful exuberant display of range, emotion, and an energy that remains intangible yet somehow within reach. Somewhere shows you how a synth bass track can be crafted to the detail that boils down to seconds. From the harmonies between guitar parts playing with the vocals and synth as percussion tie it all together, this song is bound for a journey:

Steven Luke-Seasons (To Be Human)

You don't have to beware every man that wields an axe. Steven Luke finds his second voice through the energy of the guitar in his latest single, Seasons (To Be Human). It is reminiscent of the kind of rock that bands like Whitesnake and Bon Jovi used to play to dominate the '80s. There is a distinctive guitar tone he has picked, along with the passionate vocals, which sound so inherently human and straight from the soul that you can't help but sing along by the time you've reached the chorus. As you're taken through each season, you live through the metaphor that you associate with it: if it's the snow, it's the cold; the warmth of the summer; and the beautiful, inviting aesthetic of the spring. Stephen Luke shows us not just reasons to feel but expresses the thrill in even being able to do so. For it all comes down to being human:

Reaven-Free Your Mind

It's the reason you choose to go on a long drive in the first place. Reaven are here with their latest album called Reavolution. It's not only the band evolving their music to a whole new precipice but also channelling the kind of rock and chemistry the four-member band has harboured through the years. “Free Your Mind” has that bluesy ZZ Top-like rhythm that will challenge you to even concentrate on what the real world feels like. Though the vocals come in with a soft, melodic, almost whisper-like quality, the dynamics are evident from the moment you press play. This band from Europe has not only defined a sound that is unique to them but has also consistently toured, made music, and formed a beautiful relationship with their fans. "Free Your Mind" becomes the kind of liberating anthem that takes your worldly worries away:
