Fuel incredible fever dreams with rock from Ten Ton Devil, Rosso Tierney and Törner Cryda. Listen to the tunes here and follow for more!:

Ten Ton Devil-Knuckle Duster

The music you’re going to hear is relentless, precisely crafted deathcore and metalcore. Knuckle Duster is the apt closing track of the EP Seasons of Sorrow, nothing but pure cannon fire. Knuckle Duster opens with the powerful riff opening this tsunami of emotion. The percussion climbs, mounts and then leads the charge with the riff into the opening of this song. From vocals showing intense variation and precision and dynamite rhythm parts, you’re going to have to remind yourself not to kick the gas pedal in. The project from Wilmington, NC, has made 26 their title year, with several singles and this EP to show you what they’re made of. This is metal that proves mettle, from start to finish. While having that raw, animalistic urge, they also show resolve to bring the intensity this genre requires, nay, demands:

Rosso Tierney-Oh Divine

An emotive ballad, Rosso Tierney encapsulates the spirit of a million songwriters. Vocal lines change tracks you’d never expect, along with crisp melodic lines led by the piano. There’s a warm, emotive bass line that adds to Rosso’s narration. He periodically takes the higher register – especially when the emotive peaks have to rise. Like Set You Free or This Gun, Rosso Tierney is here to take you on a journey through his persona, voice and his unique songwriting technique. I like how he keeps the song structure simple, but his vocal choices are not things you can predict. Choosing minimalism – Rosso's pipes shine bright, illuminating his imagination. If you pay attention, there are a lot of little details going on in the melody, vocal and chorus sections that show how passionately he has designed this song. Listen to what’s divine here:

Törner Cryda-Knight in Pieces

I chose the title track of this album for a reason. Törner Cryda is the kind of music you’d expect to hear somewhere, but the choice of melodies is pleasantly surprising, to say at the least. Soul bleeds out of their music, just like you hear in Knight in Pieces. With a certain mischievous bounce, this song opens with the vocals and instrumental rhythms aligning. It’s the kind of rock swing that you’d have to strain yourself to find in a pub somewhere. The band from Lund, Sweden, crafts impeccable musical stages for the vocals from Emilia Hjelm to run freely. The time signatures bounce playfully, making you wonder which line to clap or bob your head to. I enjoyed the bluesy guitar section and freebasing pit stops within the song that you can never truly guess. Be prepared to be playing this song at every live gig, guys:
