The Spitting Pips-Lowerclass Madness

You knew it was real rock from the moment the first string rung out. The Spitting Pips have a Spotify bio that says “Acid Soul Rock n Roll”. Do they live up to it? Hell yes. Lowerclass Madness builds like a train taking control of the tracks. The galloping drums come together with the riff rising, and the output is something that will become your running staple almost immediately. It’s a refreshing number with some incredible instrumental magnetism. Lowerclass Madness has a chorus that might remind you of that 00s rock, but has the swing of something that will take control of a stadium full of people. This is bona fide classic rock and roll, the thing that will inspire the next generation, one show at a time:

MANA-Dead End

When the glittery track opens, you feel like you’ve been drawn into a painting. Dead End might be the name of the song, but you’re focused on the soothing melodies ringing out. MANA has some magical stringing moments, with unpredictable layering that makes the song remarkably catchy and exciting. An emotional chorus cascades into being, while generating creative, dreamy layering notes. The kind of transitions mixes an Oasis like feel with the vocal passion of Casablancas. Dead End is a wonderful song, for it has kept the pulse of the theme while combining a special vocal ability with lyrical catacombs you feel like exploring thoroughly. It is a symphony for a cosmos within your own brain that you want to dive into, time and again:

Powers of the Monk-Bread & Circuses

Prepare for transport through time. Powers of the Monk have made it a rule that you cannot listen to their music as a passing series of notes. Bread & Circuses is a frame of music that does that; I say frame, for the picture inside is way more detailed. From the style of the tune that it is to how the melodies transgress, it is an exciting number that will reverberate with recognition while that choir verse section rings out in metaphorical reverie. Pay close attention to how the music evolves, for what comes together is incredibly visual and symbolic to rich instrumental strata. When there is silence, just the words haunt you with their impressive impact. By the time you finish listening to it once, it will seem like a song you always knew. Listen to the track here:
