Indie pop this week gives a rush with songs from Santa Cecilie, Jehnniel & Juno Empire

This week's 3 in 1 indie pop makes waves of joy with the latest collection from Santa Cecilie, Jehnniel & Juno Empire. Listen to the soothing tunes here:

Santa Cecilie-Home

When you’re listening to Santa Cecilie, the whole world around disappears. That is how invigorating and refreshing the music you will hear is. This is home.  Cecilie Nirmala Andersen has composed some lucid, crystal clear tunes and the EP is called Home My Universe. From the moment you listen to Cecilie’s vocals, the poetry is a dance in motion that is characterised with her understanding of melodies. It is an awakening, almost spiritual in nature. This is your springboard for the elevated mood you want to be in. With this latest single Home from their EP, Santa Cecilie make a cave of hope for you to take respite in:

Jehnniel-Heart Beat

The gravitating pull of Jehnniel’s music is transcendent. This is a musician who can create a niche for themselves, with their understanding of pop. Jehnniel is a Filipino singer-songwriter based in London, who has found a cocoon of music where the themes blur into each other. Heart Beat is a pulsating track, thematically diverse, while staying true to the feeling of the track. Her vocals put you at ease, give you hope-all while standing strong with her understanding of the melodies. Lyrically, you’re in the diaries made of her thoughts, while diversifying her sound and finding a powerful anchor in making songs of internal magic. The Blue Skies singer is at her best, most diverse and exciting now. Listen to her here:

Juno Empire-Gold Eyes

Every debut must have an impact. This is a seismic one, the size of a crater the size of a state. This one is from Emmy award-winning producer Alexander Thomas, who brings us his solo project called Gold Eyes. It is a swelling pop rock number which shows us not only virtuosic sound quality, but compositions that etch themselves in your memory. Juno Empire is the throne of a new train of thought, where optimistic tunes and lyrics provoke a new stream of thought. Gold Eyes creates the kind of dive that not only spikes your dopamine, but plateaus it there during the day for the kind of exhilaration you get from it. Listen to the number here:
