We're up for blues and rock here with Blues Corner, My State & Transgalactica. Fuel your week and add these incredible singles to your playists:

Blues Corner-Piggy Bank Blues

You can only beat the blues, with blues. Blues Corner returns with a sling back to the early retro years. This is that warm buzz that arrives from the instrument's natural timbre, and melodies that originate from passion. Phil Roman & Seb Oroval connected on a metaphysical level on how they appreciate and perform this legendary genre. They keep the pure purpose of it, while adding their own little zing to the track. Are they amazing live performers? You can hear it in their track. An ambitious, distinct respect to the rhythm remains, while they cruise by the song like it comes as second nature to them. Even from Lonely Mile, you can see how much the musicians have imbibed a certain swing in their music. This is blues you can bank on, with Piggy Bank Blues:

My State-Nostalgia

Don’t tell me that opening didn’t make your ticker go faster. My State don’t need a sound with an introduction-it’s the kind of glimpse like Evil Knievel through a fire hoop over the Grand Canyon. Spectacular, and needs enthusiasm that is otherworldly. Riding hot on the tempo, the band revisit punk without all the frills and whistles, none of the electronic melodrama overlapping anything. Nostalgia packs voltage, not because they’re dialling it; but because that’s what they said they will be bringing. My State are monsters on the track, perfecting their approach to the genre like their DNA had PUNK as the outer ribbon itself. You’ll almost know the chorus by heart, they’re making music that communicates to all generations by having one particular quality. Badass:

Transgalactica-Joyce of the Market

The father-son duo return to tell their unique tales. Transgalactica already blew us away with their prior single being the first discovery for us. Joyce of the Market is another single that opens with church organ sounds, but progresses into something far more complex and textured. As you listen to the music, you feed into the chaos while understanding what big fans and virtuosos of music they are. Just the rhythm section buzzes, devoid of any percussion. This is lore, connected and rooted in ages of history. The indie musicians are bringing the whole tale to you while exploring sound and enjoying themselves. A voice to behold, a sound to carry forward, and a genre to respect. That is what Transgalactica have brought forth:

This is the swatch of indie rock you want to explore, with our indie rock playlist:
