Rock for the soul is revived with new rock songs from Cosmic Souls, John Muka Band and Andy Smythe. Listen to the music here and follow these artists for more incredible music:

Cosmic Souls-Three Things

Just one song from Cosmic Souls is enough to inspire you for perhaps years to come. This is a confluence of three artists who met completely by accident and ignited the fuel for a larger purpose. Their latest song, "Three Things", has such gusto and spirit that it feels like opening a time capsule from another lifetime. The riff is energising, and the drums elevate the song's energy to a whole other plane. It's almost as though an anthem was tailored specifically for the nonconformist. Cosmic souls are everything that you want to see as an example in art: making music for the sake and passion of it, standing up to do the right thing, especially when it's easy to do the wrong one. A rock track that beckons you to be better:

John Muka Band-Bus Stop

The emotive opening of John Muka Band's "Bus Stop" was more than enough for me to loop their three songs for quite a while. It is the kind of blend that respects the time it came from, with songwriting skill that seems to be waning away in a new world. John Muka Band makes the bus stop seem like a place you want to be present in while a story beyond your dreams unfolds. The tones are tailored perfectly to the emotions of the song, and this is even before listening to one word of the lyrics that are written. The slide guitar and brass section do an incredible introduction to the dramatic setting of where the song might be occurring. John’s voice is passionate, driven and expressive in all the right angles. I’ll wait for this bus as long as it takes:

Andy Smythe-Beautiful Day

If you haven't had the time to look out and appreciate the kind of day you're having, this is your sign. Andy Smith has always made us appreciate and see the world we live in in a positive, encouraging light. Beautiful Day, his latest song, is no different. With uplifting chords and a gentle, pleasing tempo, he sings you a song like a poet of nature. Not only are his observations precise and paint the entire picture around you but his eye for detail while composing adds to all that magic. This is a songwriter who has decades of experience in sonic expression. If his voice strains, it is due to the emotion and overwhelming spirit the song has. If you're on a drive and feel like gratitude is slipping away, this can revitalise the hope you must feel. Cheers, to a beautiful song on a beautiful day:
