The guitar leads stories in this week's indie rock ft. Joe Hodgson, JB Elwood & Chandra. Listen to these fantastic musicians and follow their music here:

Joe Hodgson-The Grass is Greener

He lets the colours show, and they really shine. Joe Hodgson is a poet armed with a stringed axe, and a lot of his upbringing shapes his music in a direct way. From his rooted cultural tapestry from Ballymagorry, Northern Ireland–the musician has found a way to embed genres he has learned and earned through the decades. The Grass is Greener is a symposium of electric guitar gallantry that will show you instrumental confidence, instilling a tune you can sing along to. In this, he is able to embed furious taps, different techniques and bearings of his soul. As skilful as he is, he doesn’t allow the essence of the emotion to escape the song, keeping it in close quarters. Make sure you check out the blistering single Shapeshifting as well. The grass might be greener, but its on Joe’s side:

JB Elwood-Visiting Hours

The top hat and aviators might have inspired this storyteller, he’s writing his own stories now. JB Elwood found musical inspiration through a trigger–his music now paints its own palette. His song Visiting Hours is a joyous journey to embark on, crafted with acoustic guitar strums and thumping percussions. The vocals have their own percussive nature, and the chorus tears the parcels of colour into flares of emotions and memory. The songwriter sets the tone in stone–perfecting the kind of signature sound that will become a radio ready sound in every car stereo. The composer, wielding his 1960's Gibson Dove guitar, is able to bring that authentic touch to storytelling people ache to listen to. Time just flows by, listening to his gentle melody, leavened with underlying emotions that connect with us all in a deeper level. Check in to the song here:

Chandra-We Want Our Planet Back

A band that has always expands the envelope they past created. Chandra have always stood for positivity and inspiring change, and they double down every time. There is never a time more exciting than listening to their music, or more riveting. This time, they reinforce their stand on the political bullying that leaves our planet in a sorry state, suffering. To make this more creative and impactful, their YouTube videos are a series of “choice based conclusions”, which makes the track semi-interactive in a way. Supported by visuals and this thrilling desire to get their message far and wide, they make a rock anthem that will be screamed in auditoriums soon. Chandra wants us to have our planet back with an obliterating riff that is rousing:
