Indie rock 3 in 1 this week shifts gears from melodic to menacing ft. The Mess:Age, Epic Sigh and Red Cabin

Rock this week tells stories and sequels with passionate music from The Mess:Age, Epic Sigh and Red Cabin. Listen to the music here, and follow them for more!:

The Mess:Age-His Return

From being inspired to working with some of the best rock musicians in the world, there are lessons to learn. There are lessons to give too. The Mess:Age is Glen Brandon" Ziggy “, who has obvious idols in some of the greatest storytellers of our time. From his brilliant moniker to how he bleeds in satire, cryptic motifs and rock energy is what the entire bubble is about. The vocals in The Return have an effect, almost a wisp of smoke coming in and out of the song. The percussion is hi-hat heavy, keeping you on a whole other tempo. It is rich in melodic progressions that seem organic and expressive to a surreal degree. The retro zeal mixed with his own signature sound, here is the Mess:Age:

Epic Sigh-Deteriorate

Think decay, and the sound behind it. Epic Sigh are back, and they never contain their passionate, imaginative style of performing. The post grunge build has an ambience that amplifies the vocals-balances the lyrics like a poem. The collective from Las Vegas has their way of infusing a variety of genres to craft the narrative-spin the story through melodies. When the guitar solo bleeds into the lyrics, it’s like a soothsayers' prophecy. All the weight in the world, yet designed to the very moment. A hum resides in the bass which buzzes, almost like a premonition for the solo to return. An amazing dynamic, experimented with a band that loves what they do:

Red Cabin-Straight Line

Let’s get right into it. That’s what Red Cabin do as well. Playing with the dynamic of the song by starting on the 3 rather than the 1, there is a crisp satisfaction you get listening to this music. Cinematic and dramatic in how it is performed, Red Cabin brings the high voltage song with receding pockets-making for unique ebb and flows. The band has also released Never Lost after this song, which promises to have that visionary composition style and well constructed symphonic epiphanies. The curtain closer on the song has unique gravity, a soft, beautiful arrangement with an ambient climax behind it. The kind of music that stirs the soul, and feeds it too.
