We are locking into high-tempo rock today with incredible tracks from Until They Burn Me, motko, and Noah James Mass. Listen to their music here and give a follow!:
Until They Burn Me-Addict
I would not like to define this genre. I’ll let Until They Burn Me play and not ruin the vibe for you. All I can say is that I'm addicted to it. This band plays an aggressive mix of bluegrass, punk, Americana, and loads of garage rock to make a sound you can only dream about. It sounds a bit like the early years of Clutch, where the swinging tempo and crunchy texture of the riff build and take you by surprise. "Addict" is their latest single after “Dead Water and the Seeds of Despair”. Clever lyrical approaches, as well as sticking to a steady energising tempo, make you want to kick in that accelerator pedal all the way to the floor. I'd like to give that graph a special mention for keeping my blood temperature up through the entire track. This is your treat:
motko-ready when you are
Mortco self-describes his music as a movie to the ears. This especially holds true if you listen to his debut album called Home. Though it is an incredible journey, I'd like to tell you about each one of the singles, but I'm going to pick out “ready when you are”. With an expansive percussion session that leads to a slow pulsing heartbeat, the song builds immediately after “wake up”. A synth section will hone you home, bringing that constant thematic scene in frame as the so-called film progresses. There is an anthemic nature to the vocals, harmonised in layers to bring that strength in unity. The soothing minimalist background allows you to experience the track in a very different way, attention completely shifting to the vocals when they are being sung and back to the rhythm. Noah James Mass-Misery Winter
To blend the art of music making with the technicality of the same might be complex. Many don't put in the effort to learn about the latter. Noah James Mass is different that way. He is not only a producer and performer but also does the overall compositions of every track he makes. "Misery Winter" comes from his self-titled album that goes by his name. That's the confidence you need to make your music your name and your brand. Don’t worry, that sentence confused me as well; it’s a one-off. Misery Winter brings that garage rock duo energy straight to the forefront, reminding you of bands like the Black Keys and the White Stripes. The charging riff is your long drive staple for obvious reason-killer riff, certain warmth and a nasty funk that’s been encapsulated sharper than a V6 engine:
