Mark Wink is the aggressive, retroactive rock you have always missed. From the vocals to the burgeoning instrumentals, this artist packs a punch with a dynamite stick in hand. His latest track is easily the soundtrack of action prep in a movie. This one is called Welding Metal.
The Freeway artist puts together something that burns throttle from the get-go. Percussions are immense, bound with the same kind of edge you expect a WWE wrestler to walk out to. The gruff vocals are complemented with the guitar attack and tone, high on the gain and diffusing the pain. In the moment that we reach the catchy chorus, Mark Wink lets us know that he can tailor songs to the moment. He does so with a certain finesse, focusing on the raw delivery more than anything else.
This is his first single in 2 years, and the man has definitely been forging metal. This is a whole new cast, an alloy we’re excited to experience. Mark Wink has smouldered with something like Damascus steel, layer after layer carved to perfection. Listen to the track here:
