Your week just got a whole lot peppier with indie rock thrill ft. Chris Quesnel, ALL I LIVE FOR & Tom Minor. Listen to the music here:

Chris Quesnel-Dance in the Bar

Head to the watering hole and get yourself a drink. Chris Quesnel has a new song for us, and it's as fun as a song like this can get. From a catchy opening bringing some wicked tones, we hear Chris’ incredible voice guiding the sweet storytelling that ensues. Though the chord progression is a familiar one, it’s what is going on in layers behind that keeps Chris miles ahead as a composer and performer. It’s emotive, while being a punchy and impactful. Especially the chorus section is something that stays with you for its cyclic memorable sections. You’ll see displays of layered instrumental parts that will show you how much of a rock star Chris is. One must not forget, this is the same musician that wrote Tarantino and Cherry Chapstick. Catchy music seems to be second skin to him:

ALL I LIVE FOR-Tethered

Something about this composition makes my spine shiver with excitement. ALL I LIVE FOR have been performing metal for a long time, but the amount of soul and spirit they have put into this album is otherworldly. Into the Ether is their second full length release, and we’re delving into technical mastery as much as the narrative has unwound itself. The kick-ass percussion matches the rhythmic vibrations of the guitar sections, with added tune coming in with the vocals. I know listeners are attuned to classic rock in our playlist, but come on. This is one track your long drive deserves, for the kind of expressive storytelling it has. Check out the solo putting fire to the middle section of the track as well. Rather than being flashy, they’ve taken us on an excursion to mania:

Tom Minor-Bring Back the Good Ol’ Boys

Tell me he doesn’t remind you of Petty. Tom Minor doesn’t bring the song to you, he bridges a direct pipeline to the song’s timeline. From his prior singles like The Manic Phase and Interstellar Standstill, there’s a route he’ll take in his music others don’t even consider. His meticulous songwriting established a true link between the tune and the lyrics, almost as though the poem had a melodic dream. In this one, he goes almost to Beatles territory as well-with his symphonic territories expanding. When harmonic aspects come together, you can see how well he’s tied everything together to make a memorable, well composed single. He also has another single called Next Stop Brixton on this double A side release. The marching band beat is a brilliant element, almost painting a picture in ways in front of your eyes:
