You're in for a treat in love and longing with beautiful music from Limitless, Baytrees, Mark Neal & Fabio Cicala. Listen to their compassionate music here and follow them for more to come!:
Limitless-That Girl
Talk about a daring debut. Limitless have released their first single called That Girl, and it has that late 80s rock charm with instrumentation that is incandescent. You’ll hear those muted strums that became the pulse of the radio, vocals that are as soothing as honey whiskey and lyrics of burning desire. That Girl is a mysterious persona in the ether, and Limitless do an amazing job of creating a passionate portrait of many directions in love. Time just melts from seconds to minutes, as the ethereal ambience will engulf you. Like Saigon Kick, there is something about this band that shows infinite promise. A band that was born to make music, from atoms to dust. Check out the song here:
Baytrees-Bottle of Wine
A retro groove, with the tangy, oaky aftertaste of wine. That is how they have packaged this song, and Baytrees are on point once again. The project that made Closer and Lover is able to bring a unique funk which has a relaxed balance, yet the excited urgency of love and drive. Colourful and invigorating, the song bubbles with a rosy red haze and the thrill of things that are shared. The boys from Brixton have mastered the musical hook, and they know how to make a swirling whirlpool of emotions. A class act, making their edge in harmonic detail and compositional simplicity. One of the most difficult combinations to nail, do yourself a favour and pop open a bottle:
Mark Neal- Set in Stone
Tapestry through the veil of romanticism is what Mark Neal has mastered. Not just a song, but a tale is what he is able to skillfully deliver. When the melody rises in Set in Stone, you will feel your hair rise too. Electronic frills add to the acoustic strums to bring a spice to the song, which is lyrically a masterclass in writing. Playing all the instruments, composing a vision that is lasting yet bubbling with compassion is what Set in Stone has-and the songwriter wields the pen with pride. His compositions are inspired by many different genres, but distilled into a test with time that showcases his skill and passion till the final seconds of the song. Music, that sings of meaning:
Fabio Cicala-The Words I Didn’t Say
Once you hear that opening guitar tone and command over the instrument, you’re in a daze. Fabio Cicala is bringing back a bygone era of musicians, those who devote their life to the practice. Those who practice, with dependence of a pulse from what they make. The Rude Awakening musician tests tepid waters with an instrumental bite that is packed with flavour. The tale is told with his fingers alone, channelling his ideas through his appendages. Each take has a little more detail and definition, raw and real-just the mic and him trying to tell us about a rhythmic ruse. Listen to the instrumental intensity of the song that will transport you to another place:
