Kick into gear with fresh music from CAR287, Billy Caveman and Owen Riviera. Check out their music here with us and follow:

CAR287-Muddy Waters

You just renewed your blue licence; for CAR287 bring nothing but gritty rock made for the soul experience. Charged with the kind of riff that makes you regret not picking up the guitar, this is for that stylish movie strut. From the album “Looking Through the Lens”, this is just another number that respects the groove while giving you access across the velvet rope. The band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, knows exactly how to capture the theme of a song and doesn’t spoil us with excess. When the vocals come in, you’re reminded of 70s golden rock with that brilliant amalgam of 90s indie. You want something that makes the steering greasy and the cooling breeze on your face. Jay Yarmey, Travis Wog, Terrence Ferguson and Ryan Olenick bring the heat and pack more than a punch:

Billy Caveman-Ariel Cyclone

The thrill a one-man band brings is a style that not many can replicate. Billy Caveman got obsessed with the art of making music and got to it. No complicated theory and bookish barge filling these music sheets. Ariel Cyclone has an intrinsic rhythm that comes from the deep ambience of throat singing and the beat that pulsates in the background. With an intense reverb echoing around his voice, Billy Caveman sings with electric energy, crafting each niche of the verse while blending the groove slowly. It is an unorthodox method to put together a song like this, but Caveman has captured a spirit that not many would dare to create. Along with Dig It and Thou Carest Lord, this is one axe-slinging singer and composer who you can identify from the first note:

Owen Rivera-Lailuv

Singer-songwriter gems are hard to come across. He has Southern charm, not only in his themes but also in the way he feels and writes tunes. Lailuv is the newest gem in the gauntlet, and it exudes a sweet love and infatuation that comes through his lyrics. There are the embers of new love that come through the verses while balancing a unique fingerprint on how the words come through. Like all the festival songs he writes, there is a certain kindness that he has learnt from his inspirations that Owen follows. After Cages, this is a track that shows his dynamism and growth in compositions. You can hear the Petty and Nash influence in this young musician, and it aims to inspire so many more people. Let the love flow:
