Martin Kuiper -Time
Where the hands stand still. Martin Kuiper has his own spin on melodies and how he writes the emotive threads behind the music. From the incredible, hair-raising beginning-a catchy drum beat opens this feel-good track. This is prime rock gold nugget, with Martin getting in as many time-based wordplay elements into his fun lyrics. There’s no shifting down from the gear Martin Kuiper begins the journey in, fluidly steering through turns and straights. Time is a great start to 2026 from this prolific songwriter, with earlier numbers like Ego setting in stone how great his output always is. Consistent, credible rock tone is something this musician and his brilliant band have been able to give to the audience from the beginning. The gift of a joyous guitar solo was the icing on the cake-and Martin’s promise to always give us music like this the cherry on top:
Tom Minor-Change It!
This is your resolution anthem. Tom Minor always has a unique spell on his compositions, making them ridiculously catchy and identifiable. Not just that, but the musician finds a special groove with other artists to create something memorable always. Johnny Dalston and Tom come together in the chant of change it, and keep the track fresh and lively. The riff sounds like something Tom Petty would write, a snappy number without excess frills on it. Strengthened with a steady bass spine, Change It! shows Tom’s writing prowess while experimenting with this kind of tempo change and feel. Along with Next Stop Brixton and Bring Back the Good Ol’ Boys, there is a tinge of nostalgia and original swagger in Tom’s songs. Let everything else change, cause TMs music is always going to get better!
Andy Smythe-Leviathan
Would have never imagined such a powerful, dramatic sound from the get-go. Leviathan throws you off not just for the instrumental baroque gift you receive, but the thrilling unwrap of a song written straight from the soul. Andy Smythe remains at his absolute best, giving you the retro influence through his music and simple chord progression. Layers come together passionately, and his lyrics latch on to a familiarity. From Poetry in Exile to Emergency, the way he approaches topics and presents train his train of thought is exciting. Whether it's the references to Dylan’s lyricism or swinging storytelling in his songwriting-we’re always in for an incredible ride. Andy Smythe is a musician who is bridging the retro with the contemporary, and Leviathan carries all his charisma. Press play and feel the music flow!:
