Indie rock 3 in 1 this week features grit and glitter ft. The Marble Arches, moonweather & Justin Sconza

Feel the gritty grooves of rock this week with music from The Marble Arches, moonweather & Justin Sconza. Listen to their music here and follow them for more!:

The Marble Arches-Faking the Moment

Enter the Marble Arches, and melody is king. They open their single with a wondrous, evolving riff that is as spicy as it is honey coated. The vocals make it a resounding ecstasy of a composition, harmonies coming together like a warm sweater and a storm. If you thought you’re within this zone, the boys from Yorkshire have other ideas. It amps up with distortion, a crisp layer to execution that changes the theme and feel at the flick of the switch. It is the kind of indie rock that becomes your muse to stare at with an art-deco light pushing light on it. It is part of your collection, of emotions and ecstasy, the way you’re supposed to feel it:

moonweather-Solvent

You can either be in a mood or make one. Stalwarts of the latter cruise in with their stylish, expressive music that gives a pocket of experiences meaning. Solvent is a single from their latest album, Fall in the Void. It shows the band generate some rich melodies with poetic lyricism. The melodies have their own details that open up like Christmas crackers within the song. Textured like a detailed painting, moonweather bring the dusk to your doorstep, complete with the ambience that will make it a reverie in reverse. They put effort into the album sounding like a collection of feelings-friends intersecting ideas that they are passionate about, to make the result a priceless canvas:

Justin Sconza-You’re a Rocker

This song asked for us. You’re a Rocker is Justin Sconza connecting something he idolizes with someone he does. The multi-instrumentalist has conversations with his 8-track and instruments to make a journal come to life. His album Standards has a representation of misfits-ideas and experiences that represent a world that delves beyond superficiality. Justin is generous in how he thinks about things, making the idiosyncrasy bleed into the song. It creates a connect with the word in more angles than one-the chorus being fairly simple and becoming a lead into the multi-layered verses. It is the overflow of a musician into what he is passionate about and the art he reveres so much. New standards for you:
