Be prepared to absorb the minimal, effective textures of Nathan O’Regan. This is an artist who spins tales like Rasputin. His understanding of the melody, play with the lyrics and suave is too effortless to not be recognised as grade A earworm material. This is his latest single, for your walk of swagger. It is called It’ll Be Alright, and if it isn’t, God knows it will be after the song.
Nathan O’Regan allows the melody to be soaked in initially. He delivers simple chord changes, with a plucky tone on the guitar. As sweet as it is, there is a tang that he spices it up with. When you hear his vocals the first time, you can hear why people flock with ears craving for his voice. In Uncovered Vol.1, you can hear him belt out some brilliant renditions, as though he has a deeper understanding of the song in many levels.
What transpires is toffee before your coffee. This is the kind of kick radio songs miss, and biggies don’t seem to swing at. Nathan O’Regan took a risk, and trust me, it’ll be alright:
