Rock takes incredible flight with this week's rock 3 in 1 from Electric High, Mark Howard & Pork Pie. Listen to their captivating numbers here and go on a long drive!:

Electric High-Sun

With a thundering opening like Motorhead’s Overkill, Electric High return to the charts with their first full length album. Titled Colourful White Lies, it has some of the best from the truly vivacious band. From their debut song to their other releases, they have always delivered high voltage rock that you can intake ECG wise with your earphones. Retro isn’t the right word, this is metro, high-amp, high distortion rock mastery. Inspired by some of the biggest names that the genre has to offer, they have clearly made a sound that is distinctive, and at the tip of your tongue. Go on, taste the charge, it's a high like no other:

Mark Howard-My Girl is on Fire

Soft rock balances out the next number on our rock playlist. Mark Howard characterises an enigmatic woman with his captivating vocals and lyrics. It has a shroud of mystery, along with harmonies that bring in his style in a wax sealed envelope. The picture might be hazy, but Mark Howard makes this person seem like everyone’s dream muse. It is a bluesy affair, that burns ember orange with Mark’s incredible music. The Passing Strangers singer is composing some of his unique tracks now. There is a charisma in which he can capture time in a tin can and heat up a soup of a story for you. The musician from Phillip Island is just about getting his gritty mittens warmed up. Check out his latest flame here:

Pork Pie-The Raven

With their post grunge like sound, Pork Pie is the kind of band you need for your bring me up. The Irish 4-piece contemporary rock band has had some red-hot music for you since their debut. Pterodactyl might have been just the beginning of a collection, but these lads like to go the extra step. The Raven is a beautiful mixture of tones, time and style. Like the psychedelia that inspired them when they started making music, this will become dream fodder for a whole new generation. Pork Pie have an infectious rhythm to get hooked to with their chorus in this one, and The Raven is a whole new deck of cards for the band. It all takes flight here, peak rock addiction:
