Though Sansyou has an established sound, their explorations lead to some amazing results. Since The Dilettante in 2013, they have turned several leaves in their sound, creating a well that is not only deep, but extremely creative. With their latest EP Spaces in Between, the enigmatic band adds a whole new centre to their sound. Let’s take a look at Due South Pacific.
The interesting layers of the album is the nature of collaboration. Sansyou has modulated the surreal vocals to almost blend with the chiming instrumentals in this song. They have a natural flutter to them, especially the glittery chord progression that fabricates the surrounding ambience. To complement the nature of the same, Sansyou ensures the elements percolate gently, with purposeful consideration given to the lyrics. It is a magnificent experience to behold melodically.
There are no sudden jumps in the transitions as well, it is as organic as it can be. Synth leads are memorable, tattooing themselves to the ethos that has been created by Sansyou. Check out the single here and follow them for more brilliant music!:
