Wired Euphoria-Lifestyle
Are you really hearing good-time rock and roll now? Probably a symptom of your lifestyle. That’s why Wired Euphoria have a refresher with their latest single with that same title. An electric opening riff will crack the glass box you’re sitting inside, while raw driving vocals combine with powerful percussion elements to become an intense song. Keep your foot off the accelerator; you might kick it while air drumming. Wired Euphoria is a thrilling number that combines the best of retro rock and becomes another point of pride from Nottingham. Rat Poison, Glass of Wine would have solidified their position as the incredible live and alive sound they are – but there’s a lot more to come. Don’t leave the gasoline can open; you’re risking becoming a crisp:
9 o’clock Nasty-Lee Iococca
You’re back, you fuel guzzling fiend. Don’t you worry, 9 o’clock Nasty have something that should fancy your funnel. This is Lee Iococca, infamous capitalist and now a rock track subject. With an opening that sounded like Cameo!’s ‘Word Up’, the groovemaster united crew come together to scream praise for the person who changed the direction in which the world rotates. With one of the Nasties singing the falsetto for the chorus and the other 2 giving us an anthem to scream along with them, these idiosyncrasies were worth soaking up like a chicken marinating in burnt garlic sauce. I loved how the second half of the song breaks the repition to give a whole other texture to this incredible song. Lee Iococca is a grade A-soul, and 9 o’clock do a fantastic job of hosting him:
Claire’s Dream-Summer days
You’re drawn into the atmosphere with songs like this. The project is crafted to become something exciting with a project like Claire’s Dream, a journal that is returned to only to become a reality. The track Summer days comes in We’ll live forever then, where an ambient door opens up to soft vocals, layered with instruments that passionately align. Though it might open almost like a lullaby, you can hear all the melodies weave excitedly. This is not a song written for any purpose other than a spirits existence, and this musician knows how to look into the energy the light gives. Even with the previous album, he showcased a soulful expression through music. You can hear more of him in The score, his latest collection. But first, let's recede into summer days:
