Hear the stories and dance the grooves with indie rock from Francesca Pichierri, Saint Nick the Lesser & ULTAN JP. Listen to their catchy, thrilling music here:

Francesca Pichierri-Amen

Tell me that bass line doesn’t get you moving, and you’d be lying. Francesca is a brilliant performer–really charging her music with emotion any time she paints a track. Her single Amen has her bring a strength and charisma that isn’t like the soft ballads you might hear her execute. These are power pop numbers, she takes you on one journey with her vocals and lyrics–while another path opens up for the intensely exciting instrumental parts. The amount of effort in condensing her album Cellule Stronze is inspiring to say at the least. Other songs in this album explore the whole gamut, while crafting a niche for herself as a singer-songwriter who outdoes herself:

Saint Nick the Lesser-God Bless

Turn up to join the lyrical legion of language love that Saint Nick the Lesser possesses. It’s more, than you’d ever presume or expect. Known for interesting song frames like Catfish Bones and other incredibly visual tunes, this one is no different. A quick honky-tonk tune is what the track adapts, making the lyrics almost seem like a rap. The moment God Bless the NSA hits, you realise where the song was apparently going all along. From similes to clever instances, the song is a perfect projection of the world that we have brought on us, and now all that there is to do is wait for Armageddon to come. A quick and snappy single that has the right mix of ingredients:

ULTAN JP-The Fugitive

Let’s feel classic rock the way it was baked before. ULTAN JP started rocking out late, but realised there is nothing of that sort. The Fugitive is a reminder of all the classic rock that has passed, with the gorgeous essence of what is to become the lead melody. It is crafted with ingenuity, the one-man band detailing every element of the song to have that thunderous kick. Like a Whitesnake song, it has a soft edge and then has a crushing chorus like Bon Jovi. Even better, he is able to pull off those style of vocals with a debonair flair which you can’t just imitate. You have to live it, and you can hear it directly from the amazing rocker:
