Bring rock all the way home with indie tracks from Teto, Mosh Pit and Kevin Driscoll. Listen to the incredible energy here with us:

Teto-Open Road

It’s like this duo opened a door to Narnia right from our front door. Teto is a Filipino musician duo comprised of Jasper Nicolas and Angel Nicolas. Transcending languages, these are songs of universal experiences and emotions. The liberation and mystery of an open road are always ones that invoke a lot of feelings. Opening with some beautiful instrumental parts, it leads to Jasper’s vocals, passionate and bright. The album itself is called As we Travel, from experiences and moments where stories are made. It’s passionate about doing nothing but experiencing the journey as a wholesome moment with friends and family. Perhaps this jaunty number can remind you the open road represents a myriad of possibilities and what you can do to reclaim time with your loved ones. Come on, the open road is waiting:

Mosh Pit – No Returning

This is taking us back to the years when punk had real guts. Mosh Pit don’t sugarcoat reality; they bark it as it is. 'No Returning' is their 3rd single after Gutterman and LCD, and this shows how red hot their passion is. A daunting, punchy riff opens the single, and those tones are something to learn from. We’re heading into certain damnation – so why not make music about it? When the track drops to the doom section, you can almost feel the fear wrap around you. Kickass percussion, headbangable riffs and chugging verse sections will make this an instant favourite. Guitar harmonics rise precisely to accompany the vocals and keep that powerful, vengeful theme. Mosh Pit is reminiscent of the past of punk and rock, while being mindful of the present and future. Whatever is left of it, at least:

Kevin Driscoll – Someday Got Away

Imagine the closing sequence of your favourite Hallmark movie. Kevin Driscoll makes rich, comforting music, oftentimes vulnerable and tangled in his own experiences. With tracks like Put It Behind Me and The Maine Thing, he has shown range in his own way by crafting a niche of storytelling where all else fades. Someday Got Away tugs at that melancholy of lost time, suspended by gentle acoustic string playing. The soft percussions melt away in the background as Kevin’s warm baritone almost narrates the lyrics. He allows the percussions to be like a heartbeat, critical to the track but faded away in how the track is structured. I loved the amount of detail that has gone into the soft, ambient parts as well, over the stringed arpeggio of the notes. Makes you wait for another someday to come:

Bring some energetic flow to your trip with our indie rock playlist as well!:
