Unwind on the weekend with music from The Amanda Emblem Experiment, Raphael Jae & CATSINGTON. Listen to their latest releases here with us!:
The Amanda Emblem Experiment-Storm in My Life
When a musician like Amanda comes along, you’re looking forward to listening. The songstress is able to weave a whole new reality with her melodies-while bringing this particular metaphor to life. Her latest single is called Storm in My Life-and it's something she gets through, with sheer will. The Australian musician is able to contrast the feeling of the track with her vocals and choice of composition. Simple progressions assist her vocals along with soft percussions-while the images crafted are at the far end. The Farmtime musician is able to bring layered musings about nature, with ease. The Amanda Emblem Experiment is a project in art that is able to project much more than it looks like. Like a cloud, in a storm…:
Raphael Jae-Toxins
Let melancholy speak in tongue. Raphael Jae is a polymath in the art field, and he sings his music like he understands the depth of them all. Toxins is more than an ounce of relatability-it’s an expelling of negativity all of us tend to do. With finger style guitar and a soft, subtle vocal breeze might leave you emotional. It fits in our long drive playlist, for it is a moment of quiet contemplation. When the secondary layers come with the percussion-you’re put in the mind and body with great visual depth. Like a dramatic scene unfolding-the track builds the tempo with the background work, while Raphael’s vocals express with a strength which seems beyond mortality to even gauge. A journey that is meant to cleanse:
CATSINGTON-enough is enough
We agree. Enough of music without a tight, purposeful groove. CATSINGTON are a collective that are willing to rise above the mediocre. Not due to extensive overachieving effort. Just by being themselves. Their 4 track collection called enough is enough makes for a great mix of interesting grooves and overlaid melodies. Jeff Katz, Bhuvan Singh Paul Bucholz & Justin Heaverin bring a series of themes that highlight experimentation, soothing melodies-a thorough understanding of groove. CATSINGTON are a dynamic blend of music that we should be listening to with the music we have. They inspire by example, bringing a higher quality of composition and a modicum between ranges of pop and rock. A band that is all about the vibe, after crafting it themselves:
