The Kellows-I’ll Make it Right 

If you have not heard of this band, this song seems to be a perfect start. They are making music and making themselves known the old-school way. Playing live, releasing music, and jamming out to make seriously groovy tracks. I'll Make it Right has a natural swinging rhythm that you want to listen to all day. The chord progression has a funky split, arpeggiating some notes so that your head stays bopping. The range and diversity that the band has is seriously impressive. They released a single earlier this year called Eve, and the texture between the two of them is a genre of difference. Along with "I'll Make It Right", they have also released "Sapphire" and it happens to be a gem of a track. Whether it's pop punk or just good old indie rock that you can depend on when you're having a shitty day, The Kellows are there to make it right:

Rivermind-Honey

You shouldn't be a try-hard when you're asking a listener to get into the groove. It should just happen naturally. That's what Rivermind are able to do with their latest song, Honey. It swings and enters the scene like a stadium rock track, and that distorted groovy bass falls right in place. The band from Switzerland is able to capture some of the best parts of punk, pop, and rock to create a delectable cocktail for us. In 2026 the band has released four singles earlier, and all of them have been rhythm magnets. Honey has the saccharine aftertaste of a great song and the nasty strut when you need one. Rivermind proved time and again that feeling the music makes it a lot easier to make it. It should be illegal to make only earworms one after the other:

Rodney Atkins-Helluvit

There should be no doubt as to why I am gushing over Rodney Atkins' song. The multi-platinum artist has been behind some of the greatest indie country rock and alt-country songs to have ever graced any platform. Helluvit is the third song in his latest album called True South. Atkins returned seven years later wiser, sharper, and still carrying that mesmerising southern charm in all of his tracks. A lot has changed for him in that time, but the way he writes music has just become more seasoned and addictive. Helluvit has the kind of thumping tempo you feel like tapping your feet to while the wind is in your hair. The way the lyrical groove and vocal patterns match the rhythm of the track is nothing short of extraordinary. It's a sin if you aren't listening to this track on loop. I am going to be driving 30 miles more with this song on, just for the hell of it:
