Tony & The Kiki-Keep Shinin’ On
Welcome back, some real class in rock. Tony & The Kiki have been praised by rock royalty, so these words might seem like sawdust in a landmine. However, their song called Keep Shinin’ On has me reduced to bits-as a fan. The track is a reminder that stadium rock needs to exist to this scale, to really make the passion highlight. The steady beat is the heartbeat of the song, while even the verse is something you’ll hum along with the band. Chugging guitar rhythm sections give life to this number that will soon become one of your favourite. Vocal ranges will surprise you, while giving that retro touch. Don’t think you need to reduce yourself to mediocrity-you deserve to shine on:
Olav Larsen & The Alabama Rodeo Stars-I Miss Yoiu
That country touch can make all the difference. Olav Larsen has his African-Norwegian roots to celebrate within the genre that is Americana. This track is the second one from his album Stream of Consciousness, Vol.2. It is filled with prolific, poetic singles that enunciate the emotions involved with passion. Lyrical parts are passionately delivered, thematically getting you addicted to the kind of songwriting he has dedicated to the cause. Simple emotions, presented with clarity and sense of self. Melodies will call out to you like a soft meadow, refreshing and honest in its nature. When the layers of instrumentals come, Olav Larsen stands out as a musician that wants them to express and opine. They do, with passionate resolve:
Matt C. White-Blood Divine
The guitar gods smile, for Matt C. White lets the awesome axe shine. Blood Divine is the latest single from fuzz rock aficionado, who delivers a rock number that elastic bounces you to the 70s and returns with funky parts that are way more contemporary. Rhythm changes in the song might also seem like prog stoner rock to you in some parts, but the experience is just flourishing. It is an incredible number he crafts note by note, each verse section having its own characteristic reflection. Matt is on fire, by virtue of his vision in bands before and experimentation now. Blood Divine is another catchy staple from the indie rocker who knows the scene is where the cameras are pointing. Divinity:
